optimistically hopeless is a 10-song CD that shows a different side of gay music. We call it gay-acoustic-indie-folk-pop because we don't fit into any one genre, and we make sure that we keep our pronouns exactly how we want them. You don't have to write in the 2nd person to make music that all people can enjoy.
The CD is lighter than Wayne's first foray into the music world (going down was Wayne's solo CD, released in April 2002), and fans will be drawn into a work that spans many different tempos, styles, and emotions.
